A studio above the bakery

I danced with a company in Winnipeg for nine years, then came home to Calgary and started teaching in a church hall with eleven students and a borrowed piano.
Rosewood moved upstairs on Kensington Road in 2015. It has a sprung floor, barres at two heights and a wall of windows, and on Saturdays a pianist plays for every class — it's how I learned, and children hear the music differently when it's in the room.
We keep classes small, teach the RAD syllabus for those who want exams, and put everyone on the stage in June.

Questions
How does paying by the month work?
Order a class and tick "Repeat this order", every month. The next month's order comes a week before it starts, with the same e-Transfer details; pay it before its first class. Skip a month, pause for the summer or stop from the link in any order email.
Which class is right for my child?
By age to start: Pre-Ballet at 3 to 5, Ballet 1–2 at 6 to 8, Ballet 3–5 at 9 to 12. After a trial class the teacher will tell you if another level suits better.
Two children?
One order per dancer, so each one's class, attendance and costume stay apart. Both can renew every month.
When does my child start pointe?
When the teacher says so, usually after a year of Pre-Pointe and never before 11. Then book a fitting — please don't buy pointe shoes on your own.
Why is there GST on some things?
Classes for children aren't charged GST; the adult class, costumes and dancewear are.
